Material for Appliance and Textile Machinery Parts
Model 7602-C is a thermoset phenolic molding material intended for household appliance components and textile machinery parts. It supports injection molding and transfer molding.
The material's flowability can be matched with mold runners, component wall thickness, production equipment, and finished-part structure. This allows manufacturers to evaluate the grade for parts with different dimensions and molding requirements.
Appliance Grade Phenolic Resin combines mechanical strength, heat resistance, electrical insulation, and batch processing stability. It can be used for molded parts in household appliances and textile equipment where structural performance and heat resistance are required.
Mechanical and Heat Performance
Model 7602-C provides a flexural strength of at least 80 MPa and a tensile stress at break of at least 50 MPa.
Its notched Charpy impact strength is at least 1.3 kJ/m², while its unnotched Charpy impact strength is at least 5.0 kJ/m². These properties support molded components during production, assembly, packaging, transportation, and normal use.
The heat deflection temperature under load, Ti 1.8, is at least 160°C. This allows the material to be evaluated for appliance and textile machinery components that require both structural support and resistance to defined working temperatures.
Electrical and Dimensional Properties
The insulation resistance is at least 10⁹ Ω, and the dielectric loss factor at 100 Hz is no more than 0.1. These properties provide electrical insulation performance for relevant equipment and appliance components.
The molding shrinkage range is 0.6% to 0.9%. Water absorption is no more than 100 mg, and density is between 1.45 and 1.55.
These values provide a basis for mold dimension planning, finished-part weight control, and production process management. Sample molding is recommended to confirm actual shrinkage, flow, appearance, and dimensional results with the customer's equipment and mold.
