Material Designed for Compression Molding
Model 7501 is a thermoset phenolic molding material developed for compression molding processes. During production, the material is placed in a heated mold and cured under pressure to form parts with a fixed shape and structure.
The flowability can be matched with the mold design, component dimensions, and actual compression molding conditions. This allows manufacturers to evaluate the material according to their existing molds, part weight, and production cycle.
Compression Molding Grade Phenolic Molding Compound is intended for molded parts that need a balance of mechanical performance, heat resistance, electrical insulation, and processing stability. It can be used for compression-molded components in electrical appliances, electrical instruments, machinery manufacturing, and household products.
Mechanical and Thermal Performance
Model 7501 provides a flexural strength of at least 70 MPa and a tensile stress at break of at least 40 MPa. Its notched Charpy impact strength is at least 1.3 kJ/m², while its unnotched Charpy impact strength is at least 4.5 kJ/m².
These values provide a performance reference for parts that may experience mechanical forces during molding, demolding, assembly, transportation, and normal use.
The heat deflection temperature under load, Ti 1.8, is at least 160°C. The insulation resistance is at least 10¹⁰ Ω, and the dielectric loss factor at 100 Hz is no more than 0.1. This combination supports molded components that require both heat resistance and electrical insulation.

Physical Data for Mold and Process Planning
The molding shrinkage range is 0.5% to 0.9%. Water absorption is no more than 100 mg, and the density is between 1.40 and 1.50.
These physical parameters help molding factories calculate mold dimensions, estimate finished-part weight, and organize production cycles. Because the final result also depends on the mold, component structure, and processing settings, sample testing is recommended before bulk production.
Zhejiang Naso Synthesis Co., Ltd. uses an automatic batching system and a DCS automated control system to manage raw material ratios and key production parameters. Trained production personnel and the quality department jointly monitor the manufacturing process.
Samples, Inspection, and Production Schedule
Customers may provide technical drawings or a physical prototype for product matching. Samples can be supplied before bulk production to confirm the suitability of the material with the actual mold and equipment.
The minimum order quantity is 1,000 kg. Customized sample development normally requires approximately 30 days. Standard product production normally takes about 7 days, while customized product production normally takes about 20 days.
A full inspection is completed before packaging, and third-party inspection can be accepted. Sales, production, and quality personnel follow the production, inspection, packaging, and delivery process from sample approval to bulk shipment.
Compression Molding Grade Phenolic Molding Compound model 7501 provides documented processing and performance data for manufacturers planning repeat compression-molded parts.
